Laundry Care
We want you to get the best out of your uniforms, which is why we have decided to offer you some useful information on how to look after them.
- Always read the garment care label before laundering.
- We recommend washing at 30-40 degrees not cold.
- Always wash your uniforms with other garments NOT on their own.
- Wash garments frequently to prevent soil build-up which can be harder to remove.
- Do not leave your uniforms sitting in the washing machine damp to prevent colour running.
- Using non-bio washing detergent can be better to prevent colour running.
- Tumble drying can lead to fabric shrinkage or damage, so avoid if possible.
- 100% cotton garments should be treated with care, as they are prone to shrinkage, especially when washed at high temperatures.
- Ironing your garments whilst slightly damp will make crease removal much easier.
The use of fabric softeners and conditioners may be detrimental to the long-term performance of some fabrics, as their softening effect can lead to faster fabric abrasion.
